Genuine Nissan shocks and struts are the dampers matched to each model's springs and weight, along with the mounts, bumpers and bolts that go with them. This page covers everything from the 350Z NISMO and the GT-R to the Armada Platinum and the Versa.
Shocks and Struts From the Z to the Armada
Sports cars and NISMO
Performance models have their own dampers, and the version matters. E6B10-1A31A is listed for the 350Z with NISMO. On the current Z, E6210-6GP0B is listed for cars without NISMO. For the GT-R, E6110-6HW0A is a right side damper listed for the NISMO and Track Edition from April 2023. Installing the wrong one changes how the car rides and turns in.
Everyday cars and crossovers
Crossovers and sedans are split by drivetrain and powertrain. E6210-6MA1A is listed for the AWD Rogue Sport, E6210-6CC0C for the AWD Altima, and E6210-5AF0B for the Murano with the hybrid powertrain. The Versa has E6210-9KM0A and the Sentra E6210-3SH0C. Large SUVs follow the same rule: E6210-6JR1A is the Armada Platinum part for trucks on 22 inch wheels.
Mounts, bumpers and bolts
A strut is only as good as what holds it. This page lists strut mounts, strut bumpers and strut bolts, and replacing the mount and bumper with the strut is the easiest way to avoid a new clunk a few weeks later. The grid also includes liftgate support strut holders, which are a different part; use the vehicle filter to narrow the list.
Some dampers are sold by side
Not every shock or strut fits both sides. The GT-R part above is listed for the right side only, and many front struts come as separate left and right parts. Check the side noted on the listing, and order the matching part for the other corner at the same time, so both sides of the axle wear in together. Strut bolts are listed separately as well.
Signs of worn dampers
Bouncing after a dip, a nose that dives under braking, body roll in turns, cupped tires or oil on the shock body all point to worn dampers. Replace them in pairs across the axle, and check the alignment afterward. Related pages: suspension parts, brakes, 350Z parts and Frontier parts.
FAQs
Do you carry shocks for the 350Z NISMO?
Yes. E6B10-1A31A is listed for the 350Z with NISMO. Confirm the fit by VIN.
Is the Z shock the same with and without NISMO?
No. E6210-6GP0B is listed for the Z without NISMO, so check your trim first.
Should I replace the strut mount too?
If the mount or bumper is worn, replacing it with the strut saves doing the job twice.
Does AWD change the shock?
Often. The Rogue Sport and Altima, for example, have AWD-specific parts.
Are these genuine Nissan parts?
Yes. They are genuine Nissan parts sold by Nissan Wholesale Direct.
