Nissan Maxima Auto Parts

Select The Year Of Your Vehicle Below

Nissan Maxima was originally a trim level available in the second-generation Datsun 810 line of 1981. Since then, it's been a four-door sedan and a five-door station wagon, and early on in its career, both a 125-horsepower, 2.4-liter engine and a 2.8-liter diesel variant were offered.

If you're behind the wheel of a Maxima these days, though, there's a good chance your model's from 1984 or later. The car's second generation came out in 1985, in GL and SE trims and with a standard 3.0-liter V6. The engine paired with either a four-speed automatic transmission or a five-speed manual and an adaptive suspension was optional. The wagon went out of production after the 1988 model year.

Trims available over the years have ranged from GXE, GLE, and SE 20th Anniversary Edition to S, SL, and Platinum Reserve. These days, though -- for example, for the 2021 model year -- you can get either SV, SR, or Platinum trims. Now a mid-size car, Maxima has incorporated a 300-horsepower, 3.5-liter V6 mated to an Xtronic CVT transmission, and features have raged from LED lighting, a keyless ignition, and heated side mirrors to a heated steering wheel, the Nissan Safety Shield 360 tech suite, and more.
