Nissan Versa Note was originally a hatchback variant of the Nissan Versa during model years 2014 and 2015. The subcompact car became its own model in 2016, however, running until 2019.
Its first year, the car came in S, S Plus, and SV trims, and all had 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engines, paired with either a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a five-speed manual. Front-wheel drive was standard, and features included fog lights, 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, a Tech package, and more. SL and SR trims joined the lineup in 2015.
After the model split off from its sedan sibling, you could get air conditioning, front disc and rear drum brakes, 15-inch steel wheels, and a push-button ignition, among other options. For 2019, features ranged from Rockford Fosgate audio and active grille shutters to a frameless self-dimming rearview mirror.
