The Nissan Rogue was first launched in 2007 by Japanese automaker Nissan and has been a mainstay in the brand's lineup. Recognized for its adaptability, comfort, and practicality, the Rogue has gained a loyal following among urban drivers and small families. To meet consumer needs, the car has undergone numerous redesigns and modifications that have integrated cutting-edge technology, security features, and efficient powertrains. The first-generation Rogue was built on the Nissan C platform, which it shares with the Sentra and Qashqai. It featured a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), providing a balanced mix of power and fuel efficiency.

The second-generation Rogue marked a significant redesign, based on the new CMF (Common Module Family) platform created in association with Renault. This generation continued to utilize the 2.5-liter inline-4 engine and CVT and introduced an optional third-row seat, enabling the Rogue to accommodate up to seven people and increasing its appeal to both individuals and families. The current-generation Rogue is a complete redesign with notable advancements, featuring a more angular and muscular external design for a more commanding presence on the road. When compared to previous models, the upgraded CVT responds better and has a more natural shifting feel.
